Dealing With A Corrupt Driver
A corrupt driver will become unusable or inoperable and the device which it controls will also get inaccessible. Solving a corrupt driver is very important which will prevent the computer from malfunctioning.

1. Find out which hardware device is having problem by going to the Control Panel. Choose Performance and Maintenance tab, then select System and click on Device Manager to check whether there is a yellow exclamation point next to the listed hardware.
2. Next right-click on the device which has yellow exclamation point and select Properties. Go to General tab to select on Troubleshoot and follow the instructions on the screen.
3. If this fails, go to the device and right-click to click on Properties. Then select Update Driver which will reboot your computer.
4. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website. To know the version of the driver go to Device Manager, then right-click on the device to select Properties. In Driver tab, choose Driver Details to see the version. Install the driver which will replace the corrupt driver with a new one.
