VIA created the Mini-ITX motherboard which is about 6 percent smaller when compared to FlexATX motherboard.

1. Mini-ITX motherboard can be found in smaller computers like the nettops and home theater systems. It does not consume much power and also reduces the need for loud, distracting and high-speed fans to keep the system cool.

2. VIA introduced Mini-ITX motherboard to be used in the ultra-low power Eden and C3 microprocessors. The Mini-ITX motherboard can also be used in the central processing units including AMD Phenom, Athlon 64, Phenom II and more.

3. The Mini-ITX motherboard has been designed to be used in the small form factor systems and it is also limited in its overall performance. It can be used in the processor such Eden, that runs slow and also supports a 66 Mhz, 100 Mhz.
