Most of the time computers may take time to shutdown which can be adjusted by following methods. This occurs as the system with automatically force any active service to close.

1. Go to Start and enter regedit.exe in the search box on the lower-left corner of the menu. Ypu must select the regedit.exe from the results that appear.

2. Next go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, go to System and CurrentControlSet to select Control to continue the process.

3. Open WaitToKillServiceTimeout which will be displayed on the right pane. Select Value data field and change 20000 to 5000, to reduce the maximum shut down time to 5 seconds and restart the computer.
