Rebooting Problem In MacBook
Mac OS X is available with lot of security and power features which can help you to customize the laptop and also save energy. In case the MacBook is randomly restarting, here are few ways that can help to solve this problem.

1. There are two ways of rebooting which includes automatically closing down all the programs, then logging out and restarting. Next is by shutting down instantly without any shutdown procedure and rebooting. Another restarting will occur because of the actual hardware failure.
2. The security settings of the Mac will allow a time period of inactivity before logging out automatically. Sometimes, this may make your laptop to restart which can be solved by disabling the security settings.
3. When there is a system error it can also make a laptop to randomly restart. This problem can be solved using the Mac’s Disk Utility as it can repair various types of errors and permission inconsistencies.
4. Most of the laptops feature a safety mechanism that can prevent an internal damage from overheating which is also available in the MacBook too. This mechanism will help to shut down the laptop automatically to prevent heat from building up.
